On Thursday, May 7, NAP will host another contact meeting: the perfect opportunity to meet colleagues from the process industry, exchange knowledge, and gain inspiration for the future. This time, the central theme is: Small Modular Reactors (SMRs).
During this event, speakers will take you through a grounded exploration of what SMR technology can offer, what it could mean for your organization, and within what timeframe. The program includes two substantive presentations, complemented by a networking reception and dinner.

- The first presentation will be delivered by Gertjan Dahm (Leading Professional at Haskoning).
Gertjan will guide us through the broader landscape: the current state of SMR development, the opportunities and challenges in the Netherlands, and the potential impact on the energy system and the supply chain within the process industry. - The second presentation will be given by Paul Glaubitz (Project Development Director at Thorizon).
Paul will take a closer look at SMR technology, offering a deeper dive into the operation and potential of molten salt reactors.
Participants will have ample opportunity to engage with one another and with the speakers.
