On Wednesday, 13 May 2026, the 11th edition of the Dordrecht Conference on Process Safety will take place at the Van der Valk hotel in Dordrecht. This leading conference brings together professionals working with processes involving hazardous chemicals.

Keynote speakers
- Dr James Pomeroy is global HSE Director for Arup. He studied the Amagasaki railway crash in Japan that occurred in April 2005 . He will explain on the cultural and human performance learnings that are very relevant to avoid major incidents in hazardous operations.
- Dr Zsuzsanna Gyenes is a professionalprocesssafetyengineerspecialisedin process and nuclear safety for industrial operations. She has a background in nuclear science and safety. She will present on the many incredible aspects of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster as happened April 1986.
