Human: powered by AI: NAP Contact Meeting September

July 27, 2026 by Communicatie

AI is increasingly becoming part of everyday practice. This creates new opportunities for organisations, but also brings new challenges. How can AI be successfully applied in practice? And what role do people and collaboration play in successful AI adoption?

During the NAP Contact Meeting on 24 September, these questions will take centre stage. In two inspiring sessions, you will gain both a practical and a human perspective on AI.

Erno Bammens (Head of the Innovation Lab and Chief Innovation Officer at the Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority) and Rachid Imhaouran (Technical Architect and Strategic Advisor on Innovation) will demonstrate how the NVWA explores and applies AI in practice. Drawing on their day-to-day experiences, they will share how collaboration, experimentation and curiosity contribute to developing innovative AI applications.

Vincent McLeese, CTO and co-founder of Untangle Lab, will then focus on the often overlooked factor behind successful AI adoption: people. In his session, The Invisible Layer for Scalable AI Adoption: AI Mindsets, he explains why technically strong AI solutions can still struggle once they are introduced into organisations. Through a live AI Mindset Scan, participants will gain insight into the different ways people embrace, question or resist AI.

Whether you are already working with AI or would like to explore its possibilities, this contact meeting offers fresh insights, practical examples and plenty of inspiration. There will also be ample opportunity to exchange experiences with fellow professionals from the process industry during the networking reception and dinner.
