Zowel Werner van Acker als ik (Jaap Reijntjes) kennen het belang van kennis én van kennissen. Kennis kun je overdragen en vastleggen in boeken, systemen, films en lessen. Kennissen en je netwerk zijn lastiger tastbaar te maken. Ze hangen vaak samen met persoonlijkheid en drive, maar ook met de situatie en omgeving waarin jij of je organisatie zich bevindt. Daarom gebeurt het regelmatig dat wanneer iemand een organisatie verlaat, ook diens netwerk voor die organisatie verdwijnt.

100 is het getal van de volheid in onze wiskundige wereld. In eerdere, meer mythische werelden was het 7, maar inmiddels heeft het decimale stelsel ons ingehaald en 100 procent is simpelweg volledig. 

On Thursday, May 7, NAP will host another contact meeting: the perfect opportunity to meet colleagues from the process industry, exchange knowledge, and gain inspiration for the future. This time, the central theme is: Small Modular Reactors (SMRs).

On Wednesday, 13 May 2026, the 11th edition of the Dordrecht Conference on Process Safety will take place at the Van der Valk hotel in Dordrecht. This leading conference brings together professionals working with processes involving hazardous chemicals.

Running projects is, for a large part, about organizing resources. We define the scope, estimate the costs, make a schedule, and then figure out what we’ll need to deliver. After that, we organize how to actually make those resources available. We call that process contracting and procurement.

On 26 January 2026, the SIG Energy Transition meeting took place at Gasunie in Ommen. The session focused on the molecules that keep our energy system running. While the energy transition debate often emphasises electrons — and the grid congestion challenges that frequently make the headlines — an equally profound transformation is underway on the gas side of the system. Ultimately, this development may prove to be at least as significant as the transition in electricity.

SAMEN STERK IN EEN VOLATIELE WERELD
U bent begonnen met het lezen van het jaarverslag 2025 van NAP. Het was weer een jaar met vele activiteiten en enorme dynamieken in de procesindustrie en apparatenbouw. Het was ook een jaar waarin we opnieuw hebben bewezen hoe krachtig onze community is door met elkaar te leren, te delen en te groeien.

Congestie op het grid: wat kan de industrie doen?

Op donderdag 5 februari organiseert NAP weer de eerste contactbijeenkomst van dit jaar: het moment om collega’s uit de procesindustrie te ontmoeten, kennis te delen en inspiratie op te doen voor de toekomst.
